Special Activities
During Thursdays and Fridays, all students will be participating in various special activities set up by the tutors. Special activities may include games, movies, trivia, learning life skills, building projects, and many more. This is an opportunity for students to also sharpen their worldly perspective to become well-rounded individuals through developing abilities, such as teamwork and sportsmanship.
STEM Activities
STEM stands for the science, technological, engineering, and mathematical curriculum. Students will work in groups to perform various activities related to scientific disciplines, such as chemistry and physics, while integrating projects and technology. Students will be challenged to create an object based on the topic of the day. Sample topics covered include aerodynamics, acid-base reactions, food science, electricity (magnetism and charges), etc. Sample projects and experiments from the past include homemade hand sanitizer, egg drop experiment, paper airplane challenge, solar heating stove, marble roller coaster, and a thermal insulation container.
