Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How can I get an update in regard to my child(ren)?
During the pick-up process, tutors will provide an update on assignment completion for both schoolwork and extra enrichment to parents.
What are the hours of operations?
For Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, we are open from 2:30 PM-6:00 PM. On Wednesday, Alhambra Unified and Garvey School District's early dismissal day, we open from 1:30 PM-6:00 PM. Unfortunately, we do not offer weekend classes right now and will be closed on the weekends.
When is the latest I can pick up my child(ren)?
What schools do you offer pick-up services?
Students should be picked up no later than 6:00 PM. After a grace period of 15 minutes, a late fee will be applied towards each student ($15 for every 10 minutes). This charge will be added to the following month’s tuition charge.
We offer pick-up services to schools in the Alhambra Unified (AUSD) and Garvey School Districts in the city of Monterey Park. However, our list of schools varies each school year, and there is no guarantee. Please check with us prior to enrollment.
Can I pick up my child(ren) earlier than the dismissal time?
Do we offer snacks to students?
While we do not encourage this practice, we understand circumstances may arise. If you know ahead of time, please inform one of the tutors. Please also be mindful that students may not have ample time to complete their work if they leave early.
Students are welcome to purchase their choice of snacks during break time with their parent’s permission. We offer a variety of snacks (chips, rice crispy treats, cookies), with prices ranging from $0.50 to $1.50. However, students may bring in their own choice of snacks to enjoy during break.
Are we open for holidays?
We are closed for all major U.S. holidays. We will also be closed on days both Alhambra Unified and Garvey School Districts are closed.
How can I visit the facility?
To prevent any disruption in students’ learning, an appointment must be made prior to the visit. You may schedule an appointment by phone at 626-940-5719 or online on this website under the contact tab. A tour of the facility will be given by our director and generally lasts for 30 minutes. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact us immediately by phone.
Is there a proration offer for holidays or sick leave?
We realize that many students will NOT be attending E-Logix’s program on certain days or weeks due to holidays, illness, or other personal reasons. Unfortunately, absences due to students’ illness or any other personal reasons will NOT be prorated at all. Prorated tuition rates will be given accordingly during the following two holiday seasons, Winter Break holiday (2 weeks long) and Thanksgiving holiday (a week long). Spring Break for both AUSD and Garvey will ALTERNATE. Should you decide not to send your student(s) to E-Logix during those weeks, tuition will not be prorated. Student-free days will also vary between each district, in which the center will be open regardless. Prorations WILL NOT be granted in this case.
